A transport company that runs on route knowledge, not just vehicles
Al Fajar Transport moves pilgrims, families and shift workers across eight Saudi cities — Umrah and Hajj groups, airport transfers, and monthly staff-duty contracts for companies and factories. Everything below is how we actually operate, not what we aspire to.
- 120+ Vehicles in service
- 8 Cities covered
- 40,000 Trips per year
Two vehicles on the Jeddah–Makkah corridor
We started in 2015 with two vehicles and one job: getting pilgrims from Jeddah to their hotel in Makkah. That corridor teaches you things a map will not. Which Haram gate is closed after Isha and which drop-off point actually saves an elderly passenger four hundred metres of walking. Which Ziyarat stops make sense in which order so a group is not doubling back at midday. How long the Madinah checkpoint takes on a Thursday in Ramadan.
Ten years on we run 120+ vehicles across Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, Riyadh, Taif, Yanbu, Dammam and AlUla, and complete around 40,000 trips a year. Roughly a third of that is staff duty: fixed monthly contracts collecting factory and company workers, often on a 4am first shift where a ten-minute delay costs the client a production line, not a taxi fare.
The vehicles are the easy part — anyone can buy a bus. The knowledge is the service. The vehicles are just how it is delivered.
Where the operation stands today
Four things we hold ourselves to
These are the standards a client can check us against — and the ones we lose money on when we miss them.
Five years, max
Every unit visits the workshop every 10,000 km. Retired at five years — not driven until it fails.
Gate-briefed drivers
Briefed on current Haram gate and road closures before every shift, with a set Ziyarat stop order.
45 min in-city
Replacement reaches Makkah or Madinah within 45 min; the Jeddah corridor within 90 min.
Fixed before travel
Written price up front. No meter, no fuel surcharge, no charge for the first 90 min of airport waiting.
The people who answer for every trip
Every vehicle and every contract sits under a named person, not a call-centre queue.

What keeps this operation compliant
Commercial Registration
Registered with the Saudi Ministry of Commerce. CR and VAT numbers are published on the Contact page.
Transport Authority Permit
Operates under a public transport license issued by the relevant Saudi transport authority.
Fully Insured Fleet
Every vehicle carries comprehensive insurance and passes regular roadworthiness inspection.
Driver Vetting
Drivers hold valid commercial licenses and are briefed on route and safety standards before every shift.
Eight cities, one dispatch desk
Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, Riyadh, Taif, Yanbu, Dammam and AlUla are dispatched from the same desk, so an intercity leg is booked as one trip rather than handed between operators.
